Mari Day Hike for Hounds 2 2014

Our community involvement is imperative to our mission - from hosting Hike for Hounds which has raised over $30,000 for pet rescue to hosting adoptions every May at our Mutts in May which has found homes for over 100 dogs & cats.  We also donate a portion of our food to local pet rescue as well as provide pet food for Mt Rose Ski Dogs to ensure they have ample energy to save lives on the mountain.

WAG IT FORWARD!

Wag it Forward, originating from the widespread Pay it Forward, was designed to spread the wagging happiness of our beloved pooches and aid the community.  The first agenda within the Wag it Forward program involves helping local Reno families struggling to keep their pet(s) due to recent financial difficulties.  Wag it Forward will help feed families pets who are in need due to a recent job loss or illness in the family, or other family crisis.  Natural Paws owners, Lori & Rob Burks, state "The Reno community has been so supportive of our store and we want to pay it forward and give back to the community that has given us so much.  We love Reno and are so fortunate we are able to raise our daughter Sophie and grow our business within such a wonderful community.  Now it's our turn to help others."
